Afghanistan Development National Organization (ADNO) is a non-government, nonpolitical and non-profit organization Its main area of work is community development including training/capacity building, advocacy and civil society, support to formal and non-formal education, emergency and income generation through implementing various skill trainings with participatory approaches ADNO was Founded 2009 in Afghanistan, in General ADNO working with Afghan Society to improve their Development Skills. And Endeavoring for a peaceful, developed, and prosperous Afghanistan and the world where all vulnerable populations have equal rights, access to essential resources, and a life free from discrimination, poverty, and violence

Endeavoring for a peaceful, developed, and prosperous Afghanistan and the world where all vulnerable populations have equal rights, access to essential resources, and a life free from discrimination, poverty, and violence.

The ANDO mission aimed at providing essential and multi-sectoral humanitarian aid to empower marginalized communities as well as sensitizing them to actively participate in achieving set goals of humanitarian assistance.

Our Implemented Project Portfolio

Driven by its core mission to uplift and empower, ANDO has successfully rolled out diverse humanitarian projects across the southern region—reaching deep into marginalized communities with essential aid and multi-sectoral support. From livelihood initiatives and health services to educational outreach and infrastructure improvements, each effort was tailored to foster resilience and encourage active local participation. The projects weren’t just delivered—they were embraced, impacting thousands of lives with sustainable solutions and renewed hope.

Child Protection - UNICEF

ADNO, through its child protection Project, promotes children's education, family reunification, and strengthens social integration for vulnerable children across the southern region.

WASH - UNICEF

In March 2025, ADNO took a significant step by distributing essential WASH supplies at the Kandahar Transit Center. Alongside this, the team conducted engaging hygiene promotion activities.

Kitchen Gardening - Search for Common Ground

The project will resilient and economically self-reliant, contributing to the broader goals of poverty reduction & Community Development.
