Every child deserves a safe embrace—a world where fear fades and hope takes its place.

ADNO stands as a shield—protecting childhood, restoring dignity, and ensuring no child is left to face the darkness alone.

Livelihood and Food Security

Through resilience and opportunity, ADNO nurtures livelihoods and strengthens food security—empowering communities to break the cycle of hunger and build a future of abundance

What we do

Emergency Food Assistance

Hunger should never be a burden carried alone. ADNO stands beside Afghanistan’s most vulnerable farmers, offering not just food assistance but a pathway to dignity and hope. In fields once barren from crisis, we plant resilience—ensuring that families have the strength to rebuild, that no child goes to bed hungry, and that communities rise together.

Agricultural Input Support

Agricultural input support plays a crucial role in strengthening food security and resilience, especially in humanitarian contexts. It involves providing farmers with essential resources such as seeds, fertilizers, farming tools, and technical training to restore agricultural productivity and ensure sustainable livelihoods.

Livestock Protection and Recovery

ADNO’s Livestock Protection and Recovery initiative is dedicated to safeguarding the livelihoods of vulnerable Afghan farmers by ensuring the health and sustainability of their livestock. Through targeted interventions, ADNO provides veterinary care, vaccinations, and emergency feed distribution to mitigate the impact of crises such as droughts and extreme weather conditions.

Cash-Based Assistance

ADNO’s Cash-Based Assistance initiative in Kandahar has provided vital financial support to 20 vulnerable families through its partnership with Search for Common Ground. This program empowers families to meet their essential needs with dignity, offering flexibility in purchasing food, healthcare, and other necessities. By prioritizing direct financial aid, ADNO strengthens resilience, fosters economic stability, and ensures that families can rebuild their lives with hope and security.

Climate-Resilient Farming

In the sun-scorched fields of Kandahar, resilience takes root. ADNO stands with 20 families, transforming barren soil into thriving kitchen gardens—where every seed carries the promise of sustenance, renewal, and hope. Against the harsh grip of climate uncertainty, these families cultivate life, proving that with the right support, even the driest landscapes can bloom into abundance.

Market Access and Value Chains

ADNO, in collaboration with Search for Common Ground, is strengthening market access and value chains to empower 20 families with sustainable economic opportunities. By connecting local producers to reliable markets, this initiative ensures fair trade, stable incomes, and long-term resilience. Through improved infrastructure, financial support, and capacity-building, ADNO is paving the way for communities to thrive beyond crisis, fostering independence and prosperity.
